Edouard Gould, 97, of Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Lakeburn, passed away on Tuesday, August 14th, 2017, at his residence.

Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Abraham and the late Anita (née: LeBlanc) Gould.

Mr. Gould was former owner/operator of Lakeburn Lumber and a life time member of the Knight of Columbus of Dieppe.

He is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Gould of Moncton; one son, Eugene (Cathy) of Dieppe; one sister, Florence (late Alphonse) Bourgeois of Grande-Digue; one brother, Alfred (Bertha) of Dieppe; 2 granddaughters: Michelle and Julie; one great grandson, Samuel and also several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Angela (née: Cormier) in 2016; three sisters: Albertine, Marie and Elda and also by four brothers: Emile, Antonio, Gerard and Aurèle.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Friday from 10 am until time of departure.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Roman Catholic Church (Lakeburn), on Friday, August 18th, 2017 at 11 am.

Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.
