Denise Gagnon, 64, of Irishtown, passed away on Tuesday, August 29th, 2017 at her residence.
Born in Dieppe, NB, she was the daughter of the late Amédée and the late Evelyn (née: LeBlanc) Cormier.
Mrs. Gagnon retired from the archive department at the Dr. G-L Dumont Hospital. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and had a great passion for country/acadian music; enjoyed following local artists: Maurice Belliveau, Brian Mallery, Scott and Gerald Delhunty and many others. She was a member of Saint- Lawrence O’Toole and Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix parishes.
She is survived by her husband, Emery; two sons: Gilles (Josée Fortier) of Irishtown and Marc of Dieppe; three sisters: Yvette, Cecile (Guy) Mazerolle and Joanne (Gary Knott), all of Moncton; one grandson, Samuel; two nieces: Nicole Mazerolle and Christine Cormier and also one nephew, Daniel Mazerolle.
Beside her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Edgar LeBlanc.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Sunday from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Monday from 9 am until time of departure.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Roman Catholic Church, Moncton on Monday, September 4th, 2017 at 10: 30 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.
