Elmire LeBlanc, 92, of Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe, passed away on Thursday, September 7th, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in College Bridge, NB, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and the late Mamie (née: Gaudet) Richard.
Prior to retirement, Mrs. LeBlanc had worked for many years at the Dumont Hospital. She was a member of Saint-Anselme parish.
She is survived by five daughters: Joanne (Conrad) LeBlanc and Louise (late Guy) Richard (John), both of Memramcook, Paulette LeBlanc (George Pelletier) and Suzanne (Jean-Maurice) LeBlanc, both of Dieppe and Gisele (Bernie) LeBlanc of Moncton; one son, Ronald (Tim Durelle) of Riverview; eight grandchildren: Marisa (Ronnie), Marie-José (Mike), Yves (Mélanie), Ginette (Glen), Stéphane (Jamelle), Renelle (Luc), Sophie (Calixte) and Isabelle (Remi); nine great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Louis-Philippe in 1984 and also by two brothers: Camille and Yvon.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Tuesday from 10 am until time of departure.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017 at 11 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.
