Ghislain Savoie, 54, of Dieppe, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 17th, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born in Dundee, NB, he was the son of Guy and Clairine (née: Melanson) Savoie.
Ghislain had been employed as an auto body man at Lounsbury Chevrolet in Moncton for the last 32 years. He enjoyed playing and watching hockey, fishing, his dirt bike, going to the gym and mostly to spend time with his family. He was a member of Sainte-Thérèse parish.
Besides his parents: Guy and Clairine of Dieppe; he is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Lise (née: Bourque); proud father of his two sons: Julien (Melissa Stiles) and Mathieu, both at home; two sisters: Francine Savoie of Dundee and Sylvie Savoie (Allain Boudreau) of Campbellton; two brothers: Mario (Charline) of Grand-Barachois and Donald of Dieppe; his mother-in-law, Irene Desroches of Dieppe; his godson, Jeremie; the extended Bourque family, several nieces and nephew and many friends and colleagues.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Saturday from 9:30 am until time of departure.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Sainte-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017 at 11 am.
Interment in Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe.
