May LeBlanc-Bourgeois, 97, of Serenacare Nursing Home, Moncton and formerly of Acadia Ave., Dieppe, passed away on Wednesday, February 14th, 2018 at her residence.
Born in Petit Dover (Memramcook), NB, she was the daughter of the late Antoine and the late Melina (née: Auffrey) Cormier.
Mrs. LeBlanc-Bourgeois worked most of her life in restaurants. She was a former member of Notre-Dame de la Paix and Saint-Thérèse parishes.
She is survived by one daughter, Angela (Emery) LeBlanc of Dieppe; four sons: Paul (Louise) of Dieppe, Georges and Allison (Sharon), both of Moncton and Marc (Krista) of Dieppe; one sister, Evelyne (late Cyrille) Auffrey of Pré-d’en-Haut; five grandchildren: Rogette, Lisa, June, Kristynn and Cara; six great grandchildren: Ariane, Chloé, Jayden, Ellie, Kylie and Aiden; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her 1st husband, Fidele LeBlanc in 1974; her 2nd husband, Laurie Leger; her 3rd husband, Henri Bourgeois in 2015; one son, Roger (his wife, Carol of Dieppe); five sisters: Rita, Jeanita, Marie-Anne, Ella and Evelyn as a child and also by three brothers: Roger as a child, Edgar and Maxime.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901) on Monday from 1 pm until time of service.
A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, February 19th, 2018 at 3 pm.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.
