Ozelie Cormier, 88, of Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe, passed away on Friday, February 16th, 2018 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in Petit-Cap, NB, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and the late Anna (née: Dugas) Ouellette.
She was a member of the Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe and Sainte-Thérèse parish.
She is survived by five daughters: Muriel Cormier (Rosaire Barrieau), Marie (Donald) Cormier, Aline (Guy) Cormier, Alice (Louis) Belliveau, all of Dieppe and Yvonne (Benoit) Landry of Moncton; five sons: Alfred (Mai), John (Carol), Val (Ella Surette), Donald (Bernice), all of Dieppe and Bernard (Ginette) of Moncton; three sisters: Anna (Johnny) Bourque of Dieppe, Orida (Alderic) LeBlanc of Shediac and Elodie (late Gerry) Gautreau of Toronto; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as a special friend for the last 20 years, Adolphe Cormier.
She was predeceased by her husband, Yvon in 1997; one granddaughter, Isabelle; one daughter-in-law, Annette; one sister, Esther and also three brothers: Adrice, Alverie and Clarice.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm ONLY.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Sainte-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe on Thursday, February 22nd, 2018 at 10 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.
