It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norman Richard of Dieppe on March 11, 2018 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born July 1, 1947 in Cocagne, he was the son of Eva (née: Goguen) and the late Arthur Richard.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Paulette (née: Gould); one daughter, Carole Richard (Mathieu Boutet) of Dieppe; two sons: Denis (Lisa Towes) of Moncton and Pierre (Janice Thériault) of Dieppe; two sisters: Florine Cormier and Rita (Ronald) LeBlanc, both of Dieppe; one brother, Camille of Dieppe; five grandchildren: Katherine, Nicholas, Jack, Arianne and Charlotte; the Gould family; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Norman spent most of his life in Sales & Service, working 32 years for Ben’s Bakery. Afterwards he went on to work for Times & Transcript and Global Vending. He was always very dedicated to his work, enjoying being surrounded by people. He loved travelling, family gatherings and attending John’s Old Time Country on Friday nights.
