Yvette Maillet, 62, of Résidence Oasis, Dieppe, passed away on Sunday, March 18th, 2018 at her residence.
Born in Picton, ON, she was the daughter of Rosario and Marie (née: Arsenault) Maillet.
Yvette was a dedicated employee with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs having worked in several Embassies. She was a faithful Christian who enjoyed participating in the mass with the readings and communion at Sainte-Thérèse parish. She also taught catechism at Saint-Anselme.
Besides her parents: Rosario and Marie of Dieppe; she is survived by one sister, Louise of Grand-Barachois; one brother, Joseph Roger (Juanita) of Ottawa; one sister-in-law, Gail Maillet of Penticton, BC; five nieces and nephews: Melanie, Natalie, David, Daniel and Jessica and also by five great nephews.
She was predeceased by one brother, Robert in 2004 and her yorkies who held a special place in her heart.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm and also on Thursday from 2 pm until time of departure.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Sainte-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe on Thursday, March 22nd, 2018 at 4 pm.
Interment in Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
