It is with great sadness that the family of Anne-Marie (Cormier) Gionet wishes to announce her death at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
She left us in peace and tranquility, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, September 19th, 2018 at the age of 87.
She was the wife of the late Théophane Gionet of Bas-Caraquet.
Born in Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Abel and Marie Cormier. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne (Mélanie) of Dieppe and 4 grandchildren: Makayla, Eric, Luc and Cayden. She also leaves in mourning, her sisters: Annette (late Freddie Auffrey) of Dieppe and Dorilla (late Alfred Gautreau) of Moncton; her sisters-in-law: Lorraine (late Albénie Gionet) of Toronto and Izelda (late Existe Gionet) of Bas-Caraquet; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister, Bernice Cormier; her brother, Roger Cormier and her sister-in-law, Emma (late Henri Légère).
In addition to being an exemplary wife and mother, Anne-Marie was an accomplished cook. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
No visitation prior to the funeral.
A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901), on Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 at 10:30 am.
