Rita LeBlanc, 96, of Résidence Beaux Souvenirs, Dieppe, passed away on Sunday, October 14th, 2018, at her residence.
Born in Pré-d’en-Haut, NB, she was the daughter of the late Philippe and the late Edmée (née: Auffrey) Belliveau.
She was a member of the Club d’Age d’Or and Saint-Anselme Parish.
Mrs. LeBlanc was a devoted mother and grandmother; she is survived by four daughters: Stella (Denis) LeBlanc, Maria (Rhéal) Bourgeois and Jeannine (Donald) Belliveau, all three of Dieppe and Phyllis (Jean-Guy) Leclerc of Ammon; two sons: Paul (Lisette) of Richibucto and Philippe of Dieppe; three sisters: Rose-Marie Cormier of Dieppe, Edmée (Robert) Richard of Pré-d’en-Haut and Florence Cormier of Memramcook; four brothers: Alfred (Carmelle) of Pré-d’en-Haut, Raymond (Janice) and Armand (Peggy), both of Dieppe and Roger (Viola) of Pré-d’en-Haut; twelve grandchildren: Mathieu, Rémi, Marc, Justin, Sylvain, André, Mario, Cody, Christine, Frédéric, Véronique and Nicolas; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband, Valerie in 1987; two sons: Louis and Francis; one grandson, Martin and also by one brother, Dominique.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901) on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm and also on Wednesday from 9:30 am until time of departure.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, on Wednesday, October 17th, 2018 at 11 am.
Interment in Saint-Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe.
Donations to the CHU-Dumont Foundation "Oncology" or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
