Joseph Eugène Doiron, 91, of Résidence du Marais, Dieppe and formerly of Moncton, passed away on Thursday, December 27th, 2018 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.

Born in Acadieville, NB, he was the son of the late Barthélémie "Berthie" and the late Hélène (née: Richard) Doiron.

He is survived by his wife, Anna (née: Caissie); four daughters: Germaine (Maximino) Jimenez and Annette (Frankie) Diana, both of Marlborough, Mass, Dianna Doiron of Grand-Barachois and Leona (Marcelino) Cotto of Shirley, Mass; two sons: Jean-Paul of Moncton and Guy of Orange, Mass; two sisters: Estelle of New Hampshire and Simonne (Antoine) of Moncton; three brothers: Eloi (Delorès) of Richibucto, Livain (Elmina) of Dieppe and Jean-Louis (Sylvie) of Moncton; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one son, Baby Jean-Paul; three sisters: Baby Madeleine, Loretta (Arthur) and Madeleine (Cléophas) and also by two brothers: Baby Eloi and Alibé (Thérèse).

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901) on Sunday from 7 to 9 pm and also on Monday from 9 am until time of service.

A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 31st, 2018 at 11 am.

Interment in the Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe.
