Rosalie "Rose" Robichaud, age 75, of Dieppe, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 15th, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton. She was born the eldest of 14 children to the late Zenon and the late Melva Morris in Beaverbrook N.B and was baptized at l’Ascension R.C.C. in 1943 where her husband Louis J. Robichaud was baptized just two years earlier.

Rose met the love of her life, Louis, in Newcastle and they have been happily married for 55 years. One of Rose’s greatest joys was providing for her five children not only with the necessities of life but by guiding them on a path of betterment while keeping her French Acadian roots in the forefront. Despite a busy career as nurse’s aide, Rose maintained a hectic schedule and loved corresponding and meeting with friends and family. She also loved walking, yoga, dancing, cooking, gardening and travelling.

Rose is survived by her husband, Louis; five children: Louis Charles "Chuck", Micheline (Darren), Kimberly (Paul), Nicole (Trevor) and Jean-Marc (Marie-Hélène); her grandchildren: Alexandre and Mélissa, Jon-Paul and Breanna, Geneviève and Mira and Jessica: thirteen siblings: Annette, Doris, Lucien, Raymond, Gisèle, Claudine, Jacques, Roger, Gilles, Louis, Nicole, Solange and Angèle; several nieces and nephews and many close friends.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901) on Thursday from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Sainte-Thérèse-de-l’Enfant-Jésus, Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 11 am.
