Leo Cormier, 83, of Moncton, passed away on Monday, February 4th, 2019, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in Haute-Aboujagane, NB, he was the son of the late Amédée and the late Regina (née: Gallant) Cormier.
Mr. Cormier enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, bowling, playing pool and cards "200".
He is survived by two daughters: Joanne Cormier of Moncton and Jocelyne (Jason) Paige of Winnipeg, MB; one son, Marc (Rose) of Memramcook; the mother of his children, Margaret Meunier; four grandchildren: Brandon, Bradley, Amélie and Simon; his special friend, Bernice Richard, well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sisters and brothers: Beatrice "Betty", Diana, Cecile, Marcelline, Emery, Mathilda, Albert, Joseph and Dolor.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901) on Thursday from 2 pm until time of service.
A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, Dieppe, on Thursday, February 7th, 2019, at 4 pm.
Interment in Sacré-Coeur Parish Cemetery, Haute-Aboujagane.
