Desanges Cormier, 97, of Residence du Marais, Dieppe, passed away on Wednesday, February 6th, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.

Born in Saint-Anselme and raised in Saint-Charles-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Belonie "Ben" and the late Elise (née: Barrieau) LeBlanc.

 Mrs. Cormier was a member of the Saint-Anselme parish.

She is survived by one daughter, Elise (Réal) LeBlanc; one son, Jean (Monique) of Moncton; three grandchildren: Joline, Genevieve and Forrest; 2 great grandchildren: Jacey and Haley, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, Eric in 2016, she was predeceased by two sisters: Dorice and Aurea and also by four brothers; Emile, Yvon, Aldei and Fr. Elery, csc.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901) on Sunday from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm and also on Monday from 10 am until time of departure.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, on Monday, February 11th, 2019 at 11am.

Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel parish cemetery, Sainte-Marie-de-Kent.

Donations for masses at Saint-Anselme parish would be appreciated by the family.
