Eugenie Deyoung, 101, of Residence Bellevue, Dieppe, passed away on Monday, October 14th, 2019, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in Cormier’s Cove, NB, she was the daughter of the late Albenie and the late Modeste (née: Cormier) Gautreau.
Mrs. Deyoung enjoyed playing cards and quilting. She was a member of the Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe and Sainte-Thérèse parish.
She is survived by one daughter, Jean Ann (Hubert) Bourque of Dieppe; one son, Donald (Thérèse) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent; one daughter-in-law, Ann; 6 grandchildren: Shelley, Shawn, Steven, Jason, Luc and Kelly; several great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Walter; one son, Gary; one grandson, Daniel; four sisters: Yvonne (Sam), Marguerite (Dolphy), Zélica (Raymond) and Célina (John) and also by three brothers: Yvon, Albert (Ida) and Alfred (Jean).
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm only.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Sainte-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, on Thursday, October 17th, 2019 at 11 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
