Louis P. Dupuis, 54, of Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Dieppe, passed away on Friday, January 3rd, 2020 at his residence.

Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Walter and the late Gladys (née: Devarennes) Dupuis.

Louis was Chief of the training division with the Moncton Fire Department. He was well known for the many lives he has touched on the job, in which is firefighting, paramedic and air ambulance skills were well used. He enjoyed riding his "Harley Davidson" on his spare time, but his love for his wife, son, family and friends was foremost.  

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Colleen (née: Booth); one son, Julien; one brother, Jean-Paul (Phyllis) Dupuis; one sister, Annette Dupuis (Yvon Hachey), as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Gisele Dupuis.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901) on Thursday from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm only.

Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, on Friday, January 10th, 2020 at 11 am.

Interment in Saint-Anselme parish cemetery, Dieppe.

Donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Colleen and Julien would like to thank all family and friends for their support during this difficult time and a special thank you to the staff of Villa Providence in Shediac for their care.
