Denise LeBlanc-Bourgeois, 62, of Dieppe, passed away on Tuesday, January 21st, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in Dieppe, NB, she was the daughter of the late Simon and the late Irene (née: Bourque) LeBlanc.
Prior to retirement, Mrs. LeBlanc-Bourgeois worked as a librarian. She enjoyed gardening and photography, but most of all was to spend time with her loving granddaughters.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Lionel Bourgeois; two sons: Rémi (Jessica) and Simon, both of Dieppe; two granddaughters: Jalyn and Chantal; three sisters: Simone (late Frank) Green, Gisele (Jean-Paul) Gautreau and Monique LeBlanc (Len Niles), all of Dieppe; two brothers: Roger (Patsy) LeBlanc of Dieppe and Leo LeBlanc of Moncton, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents; she was predeceased by one sister, Paulette; one brother, Don and also by one niece, Charline LeBlanc.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe on Saturday from 3 pm to 7 pm only.
A Celebration of Denise’s life will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Sunday, January 26th, 2020 at 11 am.
Donations to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
