Diane Doucette, 70, of Moncton and formerly of Dieppe, passed away on Thursday, January 23rd, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Lionel and the late Anita (née: Leger) Bourgeois.
Prior to retirement, Mrs. Doucette worked for Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. She was very versatile with many hobbies and enjoyed to make people laugh.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Roger; one daughter, Monique (Macky) Bartlett of Haute-Aboujagane; one son, Michael (late Shauna) of Miramichi; two granddaughters: Melanie Paquin and Caitlin Bartlett; four sisters: Jeannette (Jean-Guy) Haché of Moncton, Louise (Daniel) Mitchell of Cardigan, PE, Janice (Eric) Christensen of Shediac Bridge and Nadine (Clarence) Richard of Dieppe; three brothers: Francis (Catherine) of Shediac Bridge, Paul of Dixon Point and Terry (Laverna) of Cocagne, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Lucille.
No visitation prior to the service.
A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901) on Saturday, February 1st, 2020 at 11 am.
Interment in Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
