Pauline Richard, 91, of Foyer Saint-Thomas (Memramcook) and formerly of Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe and of 53 Essex Street, Moncton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, May 31st, 2020, at her residence.
Born in Waltham, Mass, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and the late Adrienne (née: LeBlanc) Belliveau.
Prior to retirement, Pauline had worked in the bridal department at J.D. Creaghan’s, she was also a seamstress and made excellent bread. She was a devoted catholic, former president of the "groupe de prière Charismatique" of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (Parkton) in the 1990’s and a long-time member of Christ-Roi parish.
Her family was her life; she is survived by her beloved daughter, Adrienne Richard-Small (James); her sisters: Ida (late Leonard) Doucet, Roberte (late Paul) Melanson and Camilla (Leonard) Boudreau; her brothers: Adrien (Jeanette), Rheal (Annette) and Fred (Pauline); her sisters-in-law: Jan Belliveau and Della Belliveau, both of Moncton; her brother-in-law, Yvon (late Dorilla) Richard of Concord, NH, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gerard Richard in 1986; her son-in-law, Edmond Melanson in 1997; her sister, Alma (Herve) Richard and also by her brothers: Edgar and Leonard.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private mass for family and friends will be held from Christ-Roi Parish in Moncton at a later date.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.
