Clément Roy, 93, of Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe, passed away on Friday, June 19th, 2020 at his residence.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Alfred and the late Irène (née: LeBlanc) Roy.
He is survived by four daughters: Louise Roy of Dieppe, Sylvia Roy of Montreal, Denise Roy (Denis Rioux) of Dieppe and Suzanne Roy of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC; one son, Jean-Guy Roy (Suzanne Caron) of Cupertino, CA; ten grandchildren: Mathieu Roy, Isabelle Roy (Chris Roy), Emilie Roy, Michelle Roy-Stichler (Steven Stichler), Margo Rioux (Jessica Benoit), Eric Rioux, Josée Rioux (Daniel Chisholm), Dominic Rioux (Jasmine Arsenault), Samuel Corriveau (Sabrina Lussier) and Simon Corriveau; five great grandchildren: Anne-Catherine Corriveau, Florence Corriveau, Clayton Roy, Caden Roy and Clara Rioux; one sister, Evangeline Roy of Dieppe; several sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Jeannette (née: Malenfant) in 2015; two sisters: Marguerite and Jeanne-Mance and also by three brothers: Louis-François, Joseph and Clarence.
No visitation at the funeral home or funeral service.
As per Clément’s wishes, his body has been donated to Dalhousie University "Human Body Donation Program" in Halifax.
