Germaine Johnson, 86, of Dieppe, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center on Thursday, December 3, 2020.
Born in Saint-Louis-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Maxime and late Lucie (Comeau) Martin.
She is survived by her daughter, Paulette (Yves) Johnson of La Pocatière, QC; her three sons: Ralph (Francine) Johnson of Bathurst, Gary Johnson of Dieppe and Paul Johnson of Saint-Louis-de-Kent; her five sisters: Delima (late Edward) Cormier of Moncton, Lorraine (Charles-Edouard) Gautreau of Dieppe, Idora (late Reginald) LeBlanc of Moncton, Yvonne Richard of Leominster, Mass., and Jeannette (Omer) Babineau of Moncton; her two brothers: Robert (Doris) Martin of Saint-Louis-de-Kent and Yvon (Winnie) Martin of Leominster, Mass.; her five grandchildren: David, Erick, Lucie, Steve and Kevin; her eleven grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Germaine was predeceased by her husband Ernie (Nov. 2020), to whom she was married for 68 years; by her two sisters: Antoinette and Adrienne and her three brothers: Alderic, Leonard and Arthur.
Masks are mandatory and social distancing must be respected.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901), on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.
A private service by invitation will be held.
Interment in St-Anselme parish Cemetery.
