Wanda Hansen, 60, of Fredericton, NB, passed away on Monday, August 30th,
2021, at the Dr Everett Chalmers Hospital Fredericton, NB.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Aimée and the late
Florida (née Daigle) Robichaud.
Mom was the kindest hearted, gentle caring person I’ve ever known. She has that funny personality that always made you laugh and smile. No matter whom you were. She could always turn your frown upside down.
Her greatest joys in life were her children and her grandchildren. Some of her favourite things to do was to go for drives on her scooter (which made everyone laugh), she was a speedy one…. She loved to watch her favourite TV shows and read her true crime books. She was beautiful inside and out. No matter all the obstacles that had been thrown at her, she was still always trying to help others. Everyone who met her loved her. She is so deeply missed by her family and many friends.
She is survived by two daughters: Rachel Roy and Chantal Roy, both of Fredericton; their father, Louis Roy; three brothers: Ronnie Robichaud, Edgar Robichaud and Leo Robichaud; her special friend, Stan Porter; six grandchildren: Zachary, D-J, Jayden, Chloe, Myla and Maddox as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Elva and also by one brother Emile.
Visitation will be held at Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Wednesday, September 8th, from 10 am until time of service to be held at the chapel at 12 noon.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire, Cemetery Dieppe, NB
Donations to the NB Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.
