(Auberge du Soleil) Dieppe, NB - Géraldine Breau, 88, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Friday, November 12, 2021, at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Born in Saint Jean, NB, she was the daughter of the late Antoine and the late Amanda Bourque (Melanson).
Géraldine will be sadly missed by her daughter: Diane Trenholm (Carl) of Meadowbrook; her sons: Paul (Paula) of Dieppe, Donald (Sheila) of Scoudouc, George (Michelle) of Dieppe and Michael (Bobbi-Jo) of Greater Lakeburn; her grandchildren: Jeremy and Chris Trenholm, Jordan, Kyle and Logan Breau, Christopher Poirier, Norman, Ashley, Tyler and Alex Breau; her great granddaughter: Emma; her siblings: Paul (Eva-Mae) of Dieppe and Amanda Babineau (Guy) of Meadowbrook; also by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents: she was predeceased by her husband, Normand in 1986; some of her siblings: Doris Maillet, Yvonne Léger and Gérald Bourque.
Géraldine was a hardworker, she was ambitious and dedicated. She worked as a waitress for most of her life. Some of those restaurants were: Bore View Restaurant, Cy’s Seafood and Fisherman’s Paradise in Shediac and Dieppe.
Due to new Covid-19 regulations, proof of vaccination and mask will be mandatory.
Visitation will be held at Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901), on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 9am until time of funeral service at chapel at 11am.
